Transmutr's window is blank

If the Transmutr window opens but stays empty or black, try the following.

Windows

1. Install current Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (x64), including recent 2015–2022 packages from Microsoft’s download site.

2. Confirm the install folder is writable by your user account ( %LOCALAPPDATA%\Transmutr\).

3. Update your GPU drivers.

4. Restart the computer and launch Transmutr again.

macOS

1. Confirm your Mac is Apple Silicon.

2. Grant any prompted privacy / accessibility permissions.

3. Move the app back to /Applications if you run it from Downloads only.

Still blank?

1. Open Options → Open log folder if the UI is partially usable, or locate logs under the app’s data directory.

2. Email [e-mail] with your OS version, GPU, and logs.
